Book Review [ Ra Sekhi: Kemetic Reiki by Rekhit Kajara Nia Yaa Nebthet ]

When I consider the usual standards by which a book review is written, I am having trouble applying it to Ra Sekhi: Kemetic Reiki by Rekhit Kajara Nia Yaa Nebthet. The revelations of the sacred science of healing from an ancient Egyptian point of view has no counterpart in the literary market. This book stands alone in its bright beginnings.

Although the world is familiar with Reiki and the art of laying on of hands, Ra Sekhi introduces the reader to a much overlooked foundation of energy healing by providing pictorial examples that appear in plain sight on Egyptian temple walls and in Kemetic writings. Although not intended as a manual, the writings provides vital information on how the use of Ra Sekhi energy is cultivated in the mind of spiritual seekers. The physical and spiritual attributes of a Ra Sekhi practitioner require techniques and tools that are laid out for a greater reader understanding, beginning with an excellent interpretation of the 7 Attributes of Maat(Supreme Balance in the Universe). Ra Sekhi includes Kemetic history for understanding why the book has importance in the knowledge base of Kemetic Sacred Sciences today. Rekhit Kajara appears to have written with the intention of providing a foundation not only for Ra Sekhi, but for basic spiritual development as well, through breath work, information on the aura, working with spirit guides, color balancing and chakra therapy.

Ra Sekhi accomplishes the goal of a level one reader. It is about one hundred pages of easy reading, however the flow of the text's transitions are somewhat scattered. There are three different sections on Sekhmet and the whole components of the Ra Sekhi specific information is broken in two by several sections of general spiritual development components. Ra Sekhi's strengths lie in the bringing forth of knowledge specific to a popular healing arts forgotten foundation. Ra Sekhi's weaknesses are primarily structural yet tolerable as a first self published work. The beautiful additions of well respected writers like Odwirafo Kwesi Ra Nehem Ptah Akhan and myself, add to the ascension vibration intended for the reader.

I recommend Ra Sekhi: Kemetic Reiki to those seeking the history of their Reiki history, the novice Kemetic Sacred Science student and any beginner of spiritual ascension needing a system of focus to practice.

"This is a sacred system and should be guarded as such...Honor the Ra Sekhi system."

  1. Do you really the cannons at work realize that a Karuna Reiki® Master is as of now a Usui Reiki Master? Do you additionally realize that Karuna Reiki® is not an alternate sort of Reiki but rather just a further investigation of Reiki energies following back to the causes of karuna reiki?
